About ME

Hi, there! I'm Elizabeth.

Owner of Cadenza Counseling LLC.

Skier, Hiker, Music Historian, Amateur Gardener.

My Philosophy

I believe that relationships—with ourselves, with others, and with our environment—are what make life meaningful. When we're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, a supportive therapeutic relationship can remind us what it's like to be genuinely understood and valued. This connection has the power to spark significant, unexpected change. Therapy is a process of exploring how our past, present, and future intersect, helping us navigate life's challenges, build confidence, and strengthen our sense of self.

My "Why"

I get what it's like to struggle—I've been there myself. My own experiences in therapy have taught me how to find strength in times of adversity and turn setbacks into opportunities for growth. I believe that it's important to find ways to understand and accept our perceived shortcomings without letting them hold us back or define who we are. Everyone has the capacity for positive change, whether that looks like increasing self-compassion or achieving concrete goals. I’d be honored to support you as you work towards making real progress in your life.

My Services

I offer online therapy for adults, teens, couples, and families. My approach combines evidence-based techniques with a genuine commitment to making them work for your everyday life. I'm here to provide practical strategies with a touch of humor. Ready to start? Just reach out!

BACKGROUND

I have been providing clinical services to children, teens, adults, groups, couples, and families since 2015. I am an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), and passionate about helping those impacted by ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, OCD, and other forms of Neurodivergence. As a former child and family social worker, I am also extremely devoted to and experienced in working with people who have struggled with childhood abuse and neglect, relationship abuse, complex trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, sexual orientation, and gender identity.

Outside of therapy sessions, I split my time between the classic Colorado outdoor activities (skiing, hiking, biking, etc.) and my more artistic hobbies like painting, playing music, and curating Spotify playlists!
